I will get the most disappointing thing out of the way first.THE LITTLE BRUSH IS A TOY. It's made of what seems to be goat hair, and does not have any real control or spring-back whatsoever. Admire it, use it as a prop for a still-life, but have a nice, synthetic #8 or so to work with, as I did.Otherwise, these are great, well-pigmented colors. Most all of them are transparent and non-granulating, except those colors such as peach, grey, and lavender, where opaque white has been added.ARE THERE ACTUALLY 24 COLORS?Maybe. The White and the Other White (which might be slightly warmer?) seemed virtually identical to me. I'm a real stickler about keeping my colors pure, so I double rinse EVERY time I pick one up, and have a separate dish to mix in.In summation, this is a fine intermediate set for the older kids, teens, or adult who want to try a very affordable solution to water media in adult coloring books or as a soothing hobby.Have fun!
